Compared to the cost of traditional dentures, you can save 75% or more with Easy Denture. Each Easy Denture kit you order (upper or lower) is just $197, or $394 for a set (one upper & one lower).
No. You can order each Easy Denture kit. Then simply watch our self-fitting videos, and custom-fit your denture(s) at home without a trip to the dentist. The basic fitting process can often be completed in 30 minutes or less.
A high-quality acrylic denture, the Easy Denture is functionally very similar to a traditional denture provided by a dentist, but at significant cost savings and with no awkward dental impressions needed. While an Easy Denture may not arrive as pre-fitted as a traditional denture, it offers nearly immediate results and repeatable at-home custom modifications whenever necessary, without the long waits and inconvenience of multiple trips to a dentist’s office.
Each Easy Denture kit contains:
One Denture (either Upper/Maxillary or Lower/Mandibular) Instruction Guide Polishing Block Fixodent Adhesive Cream (0.35 oz) Denture Cleaning Tablets
The Easy Denture’s stretchable and highly adaptable Nuvoflex™ material allows for the use of just two sizes that will fit most people. The difference in the two sizes is approximately 15%, in both the amount of gum material and tooth size. We recommend the S/M for those with smaller facial features (who are looking for slightly smaller teeth), and the M/L for those with a larger facial structure (who are looking for slightly larger teeth).
During the self-fitting process, Easy Denture’s patent-pending design allows for simple adjustments to how wide or narrow each denture plate needs to be to fit each gum ridge well, and to the occlusion, which is the way the upper and lower teeth meet and fit together.
(Note: There should ideally be about a 1mm “overbite,” with the upper front teeth in front of the lowers.)
When heated, the denture’s softer Nuvoflex™ (thermoplastic) coating material can easily be moved, removed, or added back to the flexible base plate to adjust how high or low each denture sits within your mouth (the vertical dimension). This proprietary design allows just two different sizes to fit the majority of denture wearers.
No, unfortunately, an Easy Denture cannot fit over any other teeth and will not work for you if you have any teeth (either natural or implant-supported crowns) in the arch(es) in question.
Currently, all Easy Dentures come with shade B1 teeth, the lightest natural (unbleached) tooth shade.
Absolutely! Each Easy Denture includes all teeth up to and including the first molar, which is the tooth most important for mastication (chewing). You should be able to eat most any food you could chew with a traditional denture, and you can also drink coffee or other beverages at the full range of temperatures comfortable to the tongue.
No problem! Easy Denture is designed to be remolded and refitted up to 20 times! Most customers re-boil and remold a few times to get a comfortable fit, and can readjust in the future if necessary. Be sure to watch our tips-and-tricks videos to view that process.
Be aware that your gums and jawbone are likely to shrink over time, especially soon after final extractions, and Easy Dentures can be re-fitted periodically without having to purchase new dentures or see a dentist for repeated relines and adjustments. Simply re-boil and reshape!
Dentures are a soft-tissue-supported prosthetic, not embedded in the jaw like natural teeth. As with any such appliance, it takes time to get accustomed to wearing them. This means that a denture may not feel natural initially and can feel uncomfortable for a period of time when it’s new (similar to getting used to wearing a retainer, mouth guard, night guard, etc.). Smooth speech can also be somewhat tricky at first, as can eating. With a little patience and practice (and sometimes more healing from extractions), wearing a prosthetic (denture) can become natural as you get used to the experience.
Absolutely. Easy Denture™ is a great low-cost immediate denture that has been used thousands of times by dentists across the US and Canada following final extractions on either, or both arches. Furthermore, after any swelling has subsided, or should your mouth otherwise change shape over the following weeks, Easy Denture can simply be re-boiled, resized, and refit. This is a process that can be done up to 20 different times over extended periods.
You should also always remember to remove your dentures to sleep at night so that the extraction sites can fill in and the healing process can continue. As healing takes place, you will most likely meet resistance with the denture (i.e. it starting to not fit correctly). As this happens, you’ll simply reheat your Easy Denture for approximately 20-30 seconds in boiling water just to resoften the denture’s Nuvoflex stretch material. Once removed from the boiling water and the denture has had a chance to cool to the touch, re-fit Easy Denture to allow it to adjust over the healing extraction sites. You may have to do this several times over the typical 30-60 day healing period following the date of your extractions. It is also important to always consult your dentist while using Easy Denture as an immediate denture during your Smile journey so they can keep track of progress and make any necessary changes to your treatment plan.
The Easy Denture is a multi-layered design made from patented Nuvoflex™ material overlaying a harder flexible base-plate. The teeth are acrylic, and the gum base provides a rigid skeleton similar to that of standard dentures, but flexible when heated. The upper layer of the denture consists of stretchy Nuvoflex™, which is similar to a soft reline material and comprises the moldable part of the denture.
Due to the requirement of having to adapt to most any size mouth, Easy Denture only includes the first molar, whereas custom dentures can be provided with a second and third molar. Nonetheless, you can still eat very comfortably and efficiently with Easy Denture. Easy Denture teeth are acrylic; however, they are not finely machine-polished, as some custom denture teeth are. This is because the Easy Denture requires a three-layer process of manufacture. When saliva coats the teeth during wear, they shine very nicely. Polishing paper also comes with each denture kit to smooth the tooth surfaces. See the photos below to view the differences once self-fitted in the mouth.

Make sure to follow all of the fitting instructions to be certain you have properly adapted the denture to your ridge line. **Most important, make sure to follow Step #6 and #7 in the instructions for fitting the upper denture, and watch the video about gagging.
If the suction method (in Step 7) does not work well for you, use your fingertips and/or thumbs to press the rear of the warmed upper plate upward to fit snug against your palate. Then give yourself plenty of time to adjust to the sensation of it against the roof of your mouth. If the upper plate is too long and still causes gagging after a few days of wearing it, you can reheat and remove material or even trim down the back edge of the hard plate, a tiny bit at a time; but realize that removing too much can prevent proper suction and retention. Although the softer Nuvoflex™ lining material can be added back once removed, the hard base-plate material cannot. Once it is cut away, it will be permanently altered and may then limit suction and retention.
Also, please know that should you not have enough of a ridge on your gum line to achieve adequate retention by suction, a denture may not work well for you unless you use sufficient adhesive. Sometimes loss of ridge can happen after a length of time passes without teeth or from wearing a denture for a long time. Other reasons you may not achieve good retention are the presence of tori (boney protrusions in the mouth) or dry mouth (a common side effect of certain medications or medical conditions). If such conditions remain, you may be better suited for dental implants than for a denture.
During the boiling and self-fitting process, the teeth can become slightly textured, rough, or chalky. This will go away in a short period of time as natural abrasion occurs while eating, which will polish the teeth. Instead of waiting for them to polish naturally, you can expedite this process by utilizing the super-fine polishing block that is included in your denture kit to gently rub the teeth to smooth them (Note: do not sand or over-polish the teeth). If the hard base-plate develops lumps, those may need to be pressed or sanded down. (If you would like, it’s okay to use a small Dremel type drill-sander or a simple manicure polishing hand tool to make such adjustments.) If the softer Nuvoflex™ coating becomes textured or rough, try gently reheating and then smoothing the surfaces with damp thumbs and/or fingertips.

Each Easy Denture kit includes a polishing block that you can use to help polish the teeth. The denture will also self-polish within a short period of time while in the mouth. If you have access to the right equipment and would prefer, you can also use an acrylic finishing bur to polish the teeth or base-plate (see below).
For DIY’ers: Due to the thermoplastic properties of Easy Denture, standard acrylic burs and pumice wheels cause too much heat due to friction and will make it very difficult to trim/polish. You will have much better success with a finishing bur used for Valplast dentures, and we suggest such a set from Brasseler. You can begin by using a cutter/carbide acrylic bur (i.e. H79GSQ.11.070 HP GSQ Cutter Carbide) to shape and trim, then a 25125HP Medium ScotchBrite Brush to polish. Use light pressure to reduce the heat from friction when polishing. After sanding or polishing, it is recommended to quickly dip the Easy Denture back into boiling water for about three seconds and use your fingers to smooth any edges that don’t feel perfectly polished.
Begin by conducting a brief re-boil, using tongs to hold the denture and dipping only the high-spot area into boiling water for 5-10 seconds. Then remove the denture from the boiling water and briefly let it cool until the denture is just warm to the touch. Then push on the softened material with your fingers to reduce the high spot. If this is not adequate, let the denture come to room temperature and use the polishing block that is included in the Easy Denture kit (or a manicure drill) to bring down the high spot. Watch the “Addressing Sore Spots” Video.
If you are using your fingers to move the Nuvoflex ™ around the gum area when self-fitting, try not to push the softer material toward the biting surfaces. If this happens, use a toothpick to adjust it while the material is warm. Should material drift in between the teeth, use the toothpick to push the material back toward the harder gum layer of the denture.
A denture is a soft-tissue-supported prosthetic and will take getting used to, especially if you have never worn a denture in the past. Sometimes gagging can occur initially, and one simple approach to mitigate this issue while adjusting to the use of a denture is to use sugar-free or regular Lifesaver™ mints or a similar lozenge to counteract that reaction until you become more accustomed to the sensation of the denture against your palate.
Please watch the “Experiencing Gagging with Dentures” video for some solutions to try during the self-fitting process. If the upper plate is still causing gagging after a few days of wearing it, you can reheat and remove some Nuvoflex™ or even trim down the back edge of the base-plate a tiny bit at a time (but be aware that removing too much can prevent proper suction and retention). Although the softer Nuvoflex™ lining material can be added back once removed, the hard base-plate material cannot. Once it is cut away, the plate will be permanently altered and may limit suction and retention.
Dentures (usually uppers) can occasionally become difficult to remove in certain situations, as when too much adhesive is being used or if there is extremely good retention, etc. You can use various methods to remove it:
Step (1) Rinse your mouth with fresh warm (not burning) water, which can help soften adhesive.
Step (2) Loosen the suction seal by applying even pressure at the tops of the cheeks, between the gums and denture. To do this, find the place where the edge of the denture meets the gums and apply gentle, even, downward pressure with your fingers, on both sides of the denture, to pull it away from the gums.
Step (3) If even pressure does not work, use your fingers to apply a rocking, alternating pressure on the denture on one side at a time.
Step (4) Rinse with warm water again.
Step (5) Place your thumb into your mouth and wrap your lips tightly around it to make a good seal; then blow without breaking the lip seal. This will often force air between the denture and the palate, breaking the suction of the denture and releasing it.
Sleeping with any denture in your mouth is not recommended for a number of reasons. For one, wearing dentures can cause bone resorption, a process that results in a gradual decrease in bone volume and density. This process can be slowed by removing your denture at night (or for at least 5-6 hours per day), giving your mouth time to heal and receive beneficial exposure to the antibacterial agents naturally present in saliva. It also provides you the chance to clean your gums and other denture-bearing tissues, as well as to clean your denture. Good oral hygiene is very important for denture-wearers so that oral bacteria and fungi do not build up under a denture, potentially causing gum irritation/inflammation, build-up of plaque, and possibly serious infection. Another benefit to removing the denture while sleeping is to allow for better breathing. It will also eliminate any potential choking hazard: accidentally swallowing or partially swallowing a denture.
Note: If you believe that you might have developed an infection from wearing your denture, it is imperative to visit your local dentist immediately.
Depending on care, an Easy Denture should last approximately 2-5 years, the same amount of time as a traditional denture.
Properly cleaning and caring for your denture is an important part of your oral heath. A good oral hygiene routine consists of the following:
1. Always remove and rinse your denture after eating to get rid of loose food partials.
2. Do not sleep with your denture in your mouth. (If that causes pain due to TMJ problems, etc., try using a custom-made TMJ night guard or possibly a standard boil-and-bite night guard lined with dental impression putty instead.)
3. Brush your denture at least once per day with a soft or regular toothbrush, using dish soap or liquid antibacterial soap, or after soaking with denture cleaning tablets (avoid regular toothpaste, since it is too abrasive). Make sure all food and old adhesive are removed.
4. Brush your gums and tongue every day with a soft toothbrush (a different one from the toothbrush you use to clean your denture). You can gargle with lightly salted warm water to help remove any residual adhesive. It is also recommended to use a clean washcloth or microfiber cloth to wipe along your gums and on the roof of your mouth. Finish with a final mouth rinse with warm water.
5. After removing, cleaning, or storing your denture, rinse it thoroughly before putting it back in your mouth.
We do not recommend leaving your denture in water for extended periods of time, such as overnight.
** Do not soak your denture in hot water between fittings, as it could deform the materials.**
